PIETRACUPA (35 min)
Pietracupa, known as the “Bethlehem of Molise,” is a charming village built around a striking limestone rock, or morgia, that defines its skyline. The village is home to a fascinating cave church, carved directly into the rock, which holds a 16th-century crucifix and an altar made from a millstone.

With its mild winters and breezy summers, Pietracupa has long been celebrated for its peaceful atmosphere and fertile lands, perfect for growing wheat, olives, and vines. It’s also part of the Cenozoic Park of the Morge in Molise, a unique area highlighting the region’s remarkable geological features.
